hi.bro n sis how r u ? hope all of u in the pink. i m now at home... may be some are LI, some are working, some are same with me , right? hehe. to who are staying at home what are u all doing ar? i quite boring at home. hehe. but now i ad found something to do. come post n chat here or go msn chat... haha. we are happy family. so we should always communicate to make strong in our relationship o. haha. i think from now i won't too bored at home. let us use this blog to build up our relationship n share our recently life here.cos before we welcoming juniors, we need to have good relationship o. miss you all~~ Pray that God bring up our relationship through this welcoming preparation. gambate to evryone o. who is in LI and working. VISTA

What is VISTA? Is our theme for this year welcoming 2008. We've put a small phrase behind our theme, your future begins here. So, what is the real meaning and the inspiration that we can get from this word 'vista'??

From dictionary, vista means "A view; especially, a view through or between intervening objects, as trees; a view or prospect through an avenue, or the like; hence, the trees or other objects that form the avenue."

In Italian, Vista means vision, a wide range of possibilities or future events. From what is search from site, some people define vista as long view.

In MSN encarta says that VISTA is a group of Volunteers in Service to America, mental picture: a mental picture covering a wide range of objects or a long succession of events in the past or future.

So, what is VISTA to us? Well personally for myself, vista is a scenery, a view, a nice pretty view that we can see through a place. So for this welcoming, we hope to tell the juniors that our IVCC is a pretty 'scenery' and a family to them. We hope that they can see their future and they can see the pretty and the good of IVCC when they first come to us. Let them feel that IVCC and UTM is a beginning for them to achieve their bright future. For Christian, IVCC is a place for them to continue to grow in God in the aspect of relationship with God and the knowledge of bible. For non-Christian, we ultimately want to introduce them to Jesus and show them how much Jesus loves them. Let them know that Jesus is the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Jesus. So, we must prepare ourself and this whole welcoming activity in order to fulfill the job which God had given to us. Don't be afraid as the Lord said in Mathew, "“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me." "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," 20"teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”" . So bro and sis, we have all the power from God, so let's prepare our hearts to spread the gospel to the world.

For our own self, VISTA means a volunteer, a volunteer to God's work. As mention in "ROMANS 12:1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. " Hence, our God wants us to offer ourself into His work and His plan for us to glorify His name. For bro n sis, this is a chance for you to serve God, no matter what position you in, try to look out and see the future and the plan that God had in you, take up the cross and follow GOD and your future will begins here. May God bless each and everyone of us who are doing His work.
